Robert J. Campbell Jr.
Chairman, Alpha Omega Publications

Robert J. Campbell Jr. is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Glynlyon Inc and Evergreen Management Group Glynlyon, Inc is the management and holding company for several companies including Alpha Omega Publications, SMART and OdysseyWare.

Robert is Chairman of the Board for Alpha Omega Publications, Odysseyware, and SMARTAlpha Omega Publications is a world leader in the development, distribution and support of print and computer-based, interactive curriculum for home educators and Christian Schools.  OdysseyWare, provides charter schools with web-based and server-based interactive curriculum for grades 3-12.  While SMART Corporation produces a student management, accountability, reporting and tracking software system for school districts and charter schools. 

Robert J. Campbell Jr. was born in Watertown, New York in February of 1954. 

He attended Whitman College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Art History.  He attended the University of Southern California masters program in Computer Systems Science and Management.

During the mid-eighties, Campbell acquired Omega Entertainment.  Under his direction, the company converted its existing 16mm motion picture properties to video for distribution on VHS, and later to DVD, in the rapidly expanding home entertainment and educational markets.  Omega formed the basis of Bridgestone Multimedia Group which acquired numerous music, film and video productions; including Agapeland and Silver Wind (Wings) music publishing companies.

In the early 1990’s Robert joined Bill Lanphear, the President and CEO of Epics Games, and the two men merged their companies to form Bridgestone Multimedia.   

In 1994, Bridgestone Multimedia acquired Alpha Omega Publications, a Christian curriculum publishing company.  They combined the resources of the film, and game companies with the educational content of Alpha Omega Publications to build some of the first truly interactive educational material.   Today, this award-winning educational software, Switched-on Schoolhouse is heralded as the most prolific, interactive computer-based education product line for twenty-first century home educators and is the curriculum of choice for tens of thousands of home educators and nearly 1,000 Christian schools throughout the U.S. and around the globe

Under Campbell’s leadership, AOP’s distance-learning Christian academy now serves over 3000 families in more than 30 nations.  This CITA accredited and ACSI approved K-12 academy continues to gain recognition for academic success and many of its graduates have received scholarships to prestigious institutions of higher learning, including Johns Hopkins, MIT and other highly reputable colleges, universities, military and technical schools. 

Robert J. Campbell serves on the board of a several non-profit organizations, including The Dove Foundation.  Robert currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and three children.
