An entertainment industry veteran, Cindy has become acclaimed for her pioneering work in developing and making films that appeal to families and people of faith throughout the world.
Ms. Bond began her producing career at Wild Horse Entertainment and Management where she served as President and produced Total Stranger starring Lindsey Crouse, Zoe McLellan and Jay Thomas as a Lifetime Channel premiere. In addition to developing and producing various other films, television and publishing projects Cindy anchored a $1,000,000 film rights deal with Paramount Pictures for the James Byron Huggins novel entitled Cain published by Simon and Schuster.
Next, Cindy served as President of Norann Entertainment – a production company she founded in 1996. During her tenure at Norann, Cindy produced The Joyriders (Martin Landau, Kris Kristofferson and Diane Venora) and The Joyriders Soundtrack CD Album. Additionally, Ms. Bond acquired rights to various intellectual properties including The Jordan Family Story and The Reckoning by author James Byron Huggins.
As a producer, Cindy recognized the power of distribution and marketing and the growing demand for family and faith films. So in 1998, she co-founded Providence Entertainment, a domestic theatrical distribution and marketing company. Under her leadership as President of Production and Acquisitions, Providence acquired and distributed various films including The Omega Code – which went on to become the #1 limited release of 1999 and the first film to identify the faith market to Hollywood. Among other films released were, Grizzly Falls (Richard Harris), a Marco Island Festival Audience Winner and Heartland Award of Excellence Winner and The Amati Girls (Mercedes Ruehl, Paul Sorvino and Sean Young) and the critically acclaimed documentary Hands On A Hard Body.
Currently, aside from her corporate responsibilities at Promenade Pictures, Cindy is producing and launching a new CGI animation movie franchise – The Epic Tales of the Bible. The Ten Commandments (Sir Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina, Christian Slater and Elliott Gould), the first of six theatrical releases, is set to release Fall 2007. The Great Flood (the story of Noah), the second in the series, began production late 2006.
Ms. Bond is an active member of the Producer’s Guild of America, Screen Actor’s Guild, Women in Film, Biola University Studio Task Force and sits on the advisory boards of The Dove Foundation, theHeartland Film Festival and The Marco Island Film Festival. Cindy also co-founded the Backyard National Children’s Film Festival a nationally recognized film festival solely devoted to showcasing films made by kids. While serving on the board of the BNCFF, Cindy anchored LEGO and HBO as the lead sponsors of the festival.
Cindy is married and lives with her husband and two children in Hidden Hills, California.
