Keri Lowe

President, Compass College of Cinematic Arts

Keri has an extensive background in business leadership and management in the entertainment, education and travel industries.  Since taking the helm at Compass College of Cinematic Arts (CCCA) in October 2008, the film conservatory earned its ACCSC accreditation and Title IV status in record time.  Recently, CCCA received its college designation and now awards Associate of Applied Science degrees.

Before coming to Compass, she spent 13 years as Chief Operating Officer at Eagle Productions in Orlando, Florida, where she oversaw the film and video production of leading entertainment and educational clients, including The Walt Disney Company, Monsanto, Motorola, Montel Williams Show, Mattel Toys, Universal Studios, The Disney Institute, Harcourt Publishing, Scott Foresman, Osceola School District, Florida Virtual School and more.  She also was the Executive Producer for several national PBS documentaries, such as Zora’s Roots, River Into the New World, and The Sponge Divers of Tarpon Springs, all of which have won major awards.

Prior, she oversaw the public relations for Disney Vacation Club and played a key role in changing the travel industry’s concept from timeshare to vacation ownership.  Her tenure at the nation’s largest travel advertising agency included managing the publicity and promotional programs for some of the world’s largest travel industry clients, among them Radisson Hotels, Radisson cruise ships, Pelican Resort and Casino, and Colony Hotels and Resorts.

Keri won several awards for leadership including Mayor Crotty’s Orange County Leadership Award. For her film and promotional work she has received Telly, Addy, Golden Bell, Golden Image, and National Microphone Awards.

Keri is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and holds a degree in Journalism/Communications with specialty in Film and Television.  She is married to author and director, Tom Lowe, and they have four children.
