Aaron Carlson is a high school student with lofty dreams of becoming a great lawyer. But his dreams are far from his reality. He is the son of an insurance salesman, and doesn't have the connections or the grades to make his dreams come true. Aaron's principal, his school counselor, and his family all insist on a more "reasonable" goal.
But during one of Aaron's mock trials, Judge Andrews recognizes Aaron's remarkable talent and dedication. He offers Aaron an opportunity: win a chess tournament and Judge Andrews will secure admission to a pre-law program for Aaron
Unfortunately, Aaron doesn't even know how to play chess. He starts learning from a book and by playing games on his laptop. Eventually he is invited to play a game arranged by Judge Andrews. If Aaron can win the game, he becomes a member of an elite chess club: the Arcanum. Aaron is shocked to learn that his opponent is his school principal.
Aaron wins, and as he continues to learn the game he discovers he has talent. He also discovers he needs a teacher to help him. Sadly, Aaron doesn't have the money to hire a teacher, and his parents won't help. After unsuccessfully searching for a job, Aaron finds a teacher who is willing to help him in exchange for Aaron's work.
His new teacher, Ben, enrolls Aaron in his first chess tournament. Aaron fails miserably. Aaron considers giving up. Maybe he shouldn't reach so far. Maybe he was born to be just like his father, and his family. Maybe he should take the job at the factory.
But Judge Andrews encourages Aaron, and reveals that Aaron's own father is an accomplished grandmaster. Aaron confronts his father and finds the truth. Finally, Aaron's own father coaches him before the national tournament and Aaron has his opportunity to win a game, and win his destiny.

As Murph sets out to recruit new talent for the team, he stumbles upon Mickey (Luke Schroder), a young farmer with an incredible pitcher’s arm. However, Mickey’s parents are reluctant in allowing him to join the team because he has Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism. Murph convinces Mickey’s parents that life in the minor league will benefit their unique son, but he doesn’t realize just how much his new recruit will help the team’s game and, more importantly, their spirit. Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.
While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they're quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.
When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God ... and to their children?
Filled with action-packed police drama, COURAGEOUS is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures, the moviemaking ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Riveted moviegoers will once again find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children.
Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That's courageous.

The song styles range from rock and roll anthems to sea shanties, jazz to folk. Farmer Jason talks with his musical guests about taking hikes, going canoeing, skating and even spelunking. The idea is to get kids excited about the big world around them, observing various animals (“Meadowlark in Central Park,” “Manatee,” and “Dison the Bison”), learning about cool places around the world and simply enjoying nature. “The point is to motivate kids to get outside and excite their curiosity without being preachy,” says Jason. “We tried to make these songs energetic, fun and exciting.”
Farmer Jason raked in an all-star list of guest artists to sing and perform with him on Nature Jams, including Steve Gorman of The Black Crowes, Mike Mills from R.E.M., Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick, Iris DeMent, indie folk darling Brandi Carlile, Grammy®-award winning bassist Vic Wooten, Americana hipster Todd Snider, banjo virtuoso Alison Brown, zydeco star Terrance Simien, platinum-selling vocalist Suzy Bogguss, Celtic rockers The Sawdoctors, humorist-musician Webb Wilder, Hank Williams III and the legendary Tommy Ramone of The Ramones. Other guest artists are Jo Nesbø, the internationally best-selling mystery novelist; Kristi Rose, a Nashville chanteuse; and Ruthie Foster, the Blues Music Awards’ Traditional Blues Female Artist of the Year . Even Farmer Jason’s grown-up band Jason and the Scorchers lend energetic, rocking riffs to the song “The Glacier.” With these engaging songs and videos, Farmer Jason and friends hope to motivate children to get outside and experience nature firsthand.

In the African Savannah, all the animals are wondering what happened to the water. It should have been here a long time ago streaming down through a valley from the distant mountains. Their ever increasing thirst turns into real worry, especially as the last remaining water hole is guarded by rivaling buffalo and rhino herds. So brave meerkat Billy and his best buddy, the peaceful lion Socrates, set out in search of water. Billy wants to prove to his son Junior that he's more than just the giddy neurotic everyone makes him out to be, and that his son can be proud of him. On their way, they meet Gallic rooster Charles, who leads a truly wild party: A lady polar bear, a kangaroo, a Tasmanian devil and two Galapagos turtles to Africa. Their faraway homelands have been destroyed, and they hope to find a better future in the Okavango Delta. Of course, human intrusion doesn't stop at this last natural refuge: Resort manager Smith has build a huge dam to collect water for his luxury resort. Here of all places, politicians from around the world have convened for a conference on how to save the environment. So the animals respond to this outrage with a conference of their own: Wise elephant cow Angie calls on all creatures large and small to fight back - it's a true call of the wild for an action-packed adventure full of animal guile and wile.
