Synopsis:
In The Good Samaritan, Jesus teaches us the true meaning of God’s commandment-- “love thy neighbor”: Jesus tells the story of a man being robbed and left for dead by the side of the road; his cries for help are ignored by his own countrymen, two people who find excuses for not coming to his aid. Finally, a Samaritan, who is the injured man’s natural enemy, stops to rescue him. Through this story, Jesus teaches us how God expects us to treat others, no matter our differences.

Dove Worldview:
This Dove-approved 30-minute episode tells the story of the Good Samaritan, and how he helped a wounded man out when no one else would, not even the religious leaders. The story is told well and the animation is great. A character is robbed by thieves but there are no gratuitous scenes.

This DVD is Dove approved for all ages.
