Synopsis:
 John the Baptist is born to an elderly couple as an answer to their prayers and a promise from God. He grows up to be a prophet preaching of the coming of the Messiah. He fulfills biblical prophecy by recognizing Jesus as the promised Savior and baptizing Him before the Lord. A story of courage and conviction is seen through the life of one of God’s greatest prophets who gave everything to prepare the way for the Lord.

Dove Worldview:
 This Dove approved 30 minute episode tells the story of John the Baptist’s miraculous birth and ministry. The episode shows how early people became excited about the coming of Christ and in essence became the first missionaries. In addition, the episode features beautiful music that all are sure to enjoy.

There is very little objectionable material in this episode. The queen did show quite a bit of leg with her dress but there was nothing else objectionable. The DVD is easily approved by Dove.
