Synopsis:
When Hannah’s heartfelt desire to have a child is granted, she keeps her promise to God and gives Samuel up to His service. In return, God blesses Hannah by establishing Samuel as the chosen Prophet of the people of Israel. Later in Samuel’s life, the Lord moves him to anoint David as king, thus inaugurating Israel’s Golden Age and paving the way for the Messiah.

Dove Worldview:
A woman named Hannah had been praying to the Lord for a little boy. If he were to bless her, she would give him back to the Lord to serve him all the days of his life. Samuel was born. In this story, you will see how Samuel is brought by his mother to the tabernacle where he will be raised by Eli. This is a great story about obeying and serving the Lord. The animation and music is very well done. We approve this DVD for all ages.
