Synopsis:
The story of Ruth is a remarkable testimony to faithfulness – of hers and God’s. Ruth lived during a time when many Jews turned to idolatry, but she was blessed because of her trust in the Lord. Once a widow, Ruth was blessed with a loving husband, and she became the great-grandmother of Israel’s greatest king. Ultimately, her faith touches all of us, for through her lineage will come the Messiah.

Dove Worldview:
This animated movie about Ruth tells how she was married and then widowed and how she was loyal to her mother-in-law Naomi when she could have went back to her own home and people. She was a very courageous woman. She lives with her mother-in-law and takes care of her until the day she finally meets and marries her new husband. Her loyalty to her mother-in-law and to God is rewarded.
