Synopsis:
Completing the epic journey of young Joseph from favorite son to slave and then on to powerful governor of Egypt, Joseph’s Reunion brings Joseph face to face with the brothers who betrayed him. Instead of seeking revenge, however, Joseph chooses to view the past as part of God’s masterful plan. And because Joseph honored the Lord, God rewarded Joseph by making him second in command over a mighty nation. In the end, Joseph was able to save God’s people—his family included—from destruction.
Dove Worldview:
This Film did a wonderful job of telling the story of Joseph's reign in Egypt. Joseph shows forgiveness and kindness to his brothers even after what they had done to him. Joseph tests his brothers to see if they were sorry for what they had done. When he sees that they were sorry, he reveals his true identity to them.
The producers did a good job at making this film interesting for people of all ages. This is a short film so children can watch and learn about the Bible without losing interest. This would also make a great teaching tool for churches. " The Animated Stories From the Bible" series is a great way to teach your children about God and the Bible and it opens the door for your children to start asking questions.
