Synopsis:
Joseph, a Hebrew boy, is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. Faced with many trials (including false imprisonment), Joseph never loses his faith in God. This faithfulness is rewarded when Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s dreams. Joseph’s steadfast purity and obedience in the face of injustice models a godly response to persecution. The story of Joseph reminds us all to look for God’s hand in every situation.
Dove Worldview:
This film did a wonderful job in telling the story of Joseph, all the way from his telling his brothers of his dreams, and eventually being sold into slavery, and culminating in his time in Egypt. The producers did a good job at making this film interesting for people of all ages. This is a short film so children can watch and learn about the Bible without losing interest. This would also make a great teaching tool for churches. " The Animated Stories From the Bible" series is a great way to teach your children about God and the Bible and it opens the door for your children to start asking questions. We approve this DVD for all ages.
