Synopsis:
Alexander Graham Bell is passionate in his pursuit of teaching the deaf. His zeal translates to his monumental work on the telegraph, as he is determined to create a way for voices to transport through a wire. Frustration attempts to block his path of creativity, but Alexander Graham Bell triumphs over doubt and in turn, invents the telephone.
Dove Worldview:
The Animated Heroes series is a wonderful learning tool for children to learn more about history. The animation was done well and the story of Alexander Graham Bell was told very well. The film was very educational, including some sign language, and it kept the interest of not only myself but my young children. This film would be a wonderful teaching tool for schools to use in the classroom or for home schooling families. Remember "you only fail when you quit trying".
If you are looking for a wholesome educational yet interesting film, I highly recommend this one and the other stories form "The Animated Heroes Classics series". You will not be disappointed. These films also contain an English or Spanish option. This DVD is Dove approved for everyone.
