Dove Review

This remarkable movie showcases forgiveness and the theme of going on when life has been tough. Alan Maki not only stars as the main character, Kris Kivi, but also is the writer of the film. Maki turns in a fine and believable performance as do the other actors. The music of this film is also inspiring and nicely done.

Kris loses his family in an auto accident and his job to boot. He winds up playing his guitar on the street and he faces obstacles from the church as well as a gang. But he pushes on with his music and God promotes him in the end. This movie is a triumph! We award it five Doves, the most we award a film. It is that good.
