Dove Review

Kids and the young at heart will love this movie! This is a remarkable film which includes a quest for a dragon pearl and is, in several ways, similar to “E.T.” in that it has characters helping out a dragon (instead of an alien) and they even are given the ability to fly! The kid actors are terrific, with Louis Corbett playing Josh and Li Lin Jin playing Ling. Sam Neill is wonderful as Josh’s father Chris Chase and Robert Mammone makes a great villain, playing Chris’s boss Philip Dukas. Jordan Chan is a hoot as Mr. Wu Dong, a martial arts and dragon expert who takes on some goons to protect Josh and Ling.

This film features wonderful music, excellent acting, beautiful cinematography, and themes of loyalty and commitment. We are pleased to award this movie our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages 12 and over.
