Lost in the African Bush (Illustrated with Read-Along CD)

Elijah Bingham, a missionary in Africa, and his student Joseph get lost in the jungle during a dangerous thunderstorm. The flashing lightning and booming thunder terrify Joseph — he can see wild animals hiding in the trees with every streak across the sky. Will the two men have faith in God to protect them as they stumble through the African bush?

Dove Review

Here is a story adapted from the radio script for the lovable Children’s Bible Hour. This charming story is about a missionary that comes home to America and tells his wonderful tales of his mission in Africa. He tells Micah and his family of the adventure about the bush including his student Joseph and how the Lord helped them through a difficult time and to find their way home.

As with all the wonderful stories the Children’s Bible Hour shared this one tells of the great love God has for all of us and how He will light our way. This is narrated by Uncle Charlie on the CD that accompanies this colorfully illustrated book, and it makes it easy for anyone to follow along. Every viewer and reader will love this book and its faith-based story.

We are proud to award “Lost in the African Bush (Illustrated with Read-Along CD)” with the Dove Family Approved Seal for all ages.
