Dove Review

This is a terrific and suspenseful story, a wholesome mystery which both kids and adults can enjoy.

This manuscript focuses on eleven-year-old Mickey Matson and a rock he inherits after his grandfather dies. Mickey believed his grandfather loved him but then why would he leave him a rock in his will? He soon learns why, that his grandfather has entrusted him with a secret mission which goes all the way back to the Civil War and President Abraham Lincoln! With the help of his new friend, Sully, who just happens to be a girl who moved to Michigan from Chicago, Mickey starts on the quest to protect his country and to do his grandpa proud. But he didn’t plan on a trio of bad guys who seem to turn up at the worst possible times, whenever he is making headway in solving the clues which can help him succeed in thwarting the bad guys.

We are pleased to award this nicely written script our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal and for all ages. It’s got plenty of action and is wholesome to boot.
