Dove Review

“Warrior’s Heart” is a fantastic DVD worth watching! It promotes the themes of teamwork and that triumph can overcome tragedy.

Connor’s dad is in the service and wants to get his son into an academy which features the sport lacrosse. So they move from the west coast to the east coast and Connor begins attending Briar Field Academy in Arlington, Virginia. After a tragic event involving Connor’s father, Connor is faced with grief and anger and he unleashes the anger on his friends and family and on his teammates too. Sgt. Major Wade, a Native American, takes Connor under his wing and teaches him to harness his emotions and to focus them in the right direction.

Connor is able to bounce back with the advise of his mentor and he enables his team to go farther than others might have thought possible. In the end Connor is told his father would be proud. This one earns our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal. Teens and young adults will especially like it. “A Warriors Heart” is a winner.
