Dove Review

Steve Carell and Tina Fey have good chemistry in playing humor off each other. They play a married couple named Phil and Claire who try to keep the romantic flame burning by having a date night once a week. When Phil wants to do something different the New Jersey couple drive to Manhattan and attempt to eat at a trendy bistro. The only way Phil can get them in without reservations is to claim another couple’s reservation. Once he does, they soon find themselves in hot water as two creepy looking men force them outside and demand the “flash drive”. Phil and Claire soon find themselves trying to escape for their lives and on an adventure that made the original date plans look dull.

Despite some funny moments between the two leads, the move contains a lot of sexual innuendos and a scene in a strip joint, in addition to strong language. We therefore cannot award our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal to this movie.
