Uncross the Stars

This is a make-you-laugh, make-you-cry comedic drama in the tone of "Juno", "Garden State" and "Little Miss Sunshine". After Troy Harper loses his wife, he meets a bawdy, wise-cracking and adorable group of elderly women who quide him through the lessons he needs in order to grieve and find peace.

Dove Review

It is always sad to lose a loved one. In this story a young man named Troy loses his wife and does not quite know how to go on with his life. After receiving a letter from her that was given to him by his aunt, he decides to follow his wife’s suggestion to go to his aunt’s and build a deck for her.

Along the way, the new friends he makes at his aunt’s retirement community help him discover how to grieve, live life and love. Also to learn that there is a difference between “True love and Love at first sight”. Here is a very charming movie that may help those of us that may have lost a loved one whether it be because of death or a misunderstanding. Dove happily awards this movie the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages 12 and older.
