Dove Review

This story is set in 1970, a time before cell phones, computers and cable. We meet three friends who are pre-teens, a time when life can be difficult. The complications of young love and decisions about relationships are confusing and are illustrated in this film. This story portrays how one man mentors these young boys’ lives though Bible study and faith.

We all need a little help, whether it is with relationships or our own faith, and the answer can be found in the Bible, a place where everyone needs to spend more time and sometimes we need to just stop and pray for the answers. Mr. Jonathan Sperry is a wonderful man who will encourage and influence many to search for answers for their lives in the Bible and in prayer.

“The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry” is awarded the Dove Seal.
