Synopsis

Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the “Punisher Task Force” hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.

Dove Review

With brutally graphic violence, this film becomes the textbook case of a violent video game gone Hollywood. Action-packed gore isn’t my style and I bet if you’re reading this review it probably isn’t yours either. In an effort to not offend your sensibilities, I am going to refer you to the content chart below for the remainder of my review. Needless to say, this is not a family film.

Content Description

Sex: Inappropriate comment about a female minor.
Language: More F-Bombs that I cared to count along with a flurry of additional profanities and a half dozen biblical ones thrown in just to offend everyone.
Violence: Shootings; ax murders; stabbings; slashings; guns, guns and more guns.
Drugs: A man snorts what seems to be cocaine multiple times; drinking and smoking.
Nudity: Cleavage.
Other: Vigilante-ism to the extreme.
