Fourth Quarter (Manuscript)

Larry Steel was a good man and devoted father. He retired from the game of football early in his career, due to a family tragedy. At 43 years of age he attempts to come back to play professional football again, but not to relive past glory.

Dove Review

We are pleased to award the Dove Family-Approved Seal to the manuscript “Fourth Quarter.” This is the story of a high school student who has everything going for him – money, popularity, and remarkable athleticism. When he unexpectedly learns that he has bone cancer and needs to have part of his leg amputated, quelling his dreams of playing in the NFL like his father, he challenges his father to stage a comeback and play for his old team professionally once again.

While this manuscript has been awarded the Dove Family-Approved Seal, it is possible the film would not receive the seal depending on the depiction of the violence within the film. Due to the mature themes presented in the manuscript, it has been approved for ages twelve and over. All other categories are fine at this time.
