Dove Review

Most critics consider this last “The Karate Kid” film, with both Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita, to be the weakest of the trilogy. One more film with Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi was made with a new karate student, a very young Hillary Swank. This film does have its moments. The confusion young Daniel goes through is understandable and his relationship with Mr. Miyagi deepens after they hit a bump in the road. The ending is good too as Daniel shows young karate dynamo Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) that being smarter is better than being tougher. However, due to the strong language, this film is not Dove approved.
