For All Ages

An American man named Dan and a Japanese woman, Hatsue, fall in love, producing conflicts between their religious beliefs and with her parents. She is studying in America for a year, but when she returns to Japan and the traditions of her upbringing her relationship with Dan becomes strained. Hatsue has to choose between her Japanese life with her family or an American life with the man she loves.

Dove Review

This is a heartwarming love story regarding a couple who are from different backgrounds and faiths, and touches on the themes of true love, faith, devotion, and beliefs. The interaction of characters is fantastic and believable. There are many issues dealt with in this manuscript that would make it an encouraging movie for families to watch. I can see this as a Hallmark Movie or faith-based movie.
