Synopsis

“Meet the Shapes” is a delightful video that will teach babies and toddlers to recognize shapes and to learn shape names. In the first part of the video, children get to “meet” the shapes. Shapes become memorable characters that kids will love! In the next scene, shapes jump into everyday objects and children begin to see how shapes make up the wold around them. In the third scene children get a chance to test what they have learned as they view different objects and guess which shape will jump out. Next, our shape friends take turns jumping onto a blank canvas and building pictures that start out simple; the final picture is a children’s playground. The video ends with a barn dance that will get everyone up and dancing! Bonus features include chapter selections, “Dance with your Favorite Shape” and “Flashcards.”

Dove Review

Preschool Prep Company has done a fantastic job in creating these very educational videos for young children. “Meet the Shapes” is the tool to teach your toddler shapes. Education starts at a young age and this video, along with “Meet the Letters” and “Meet the Numbers” will help you start the educational process with your young children.
