From the demented mind of Darren Lynn Bousman (Identity Lost, Butterfly Dreams) comes the brutally graphic horror film “Saw 2”. I am amazed at how someone can come up with so many different ways for people to die. To come up with them as a writer is one thing, but then to direct them onto film in such a horrific bloody manner is another.
He does manage to create an interesting plot though. Just like in “Saw” there are many twists and turns throughout the film that keeps the audience guessing as to just what is going on and what will happen next. It is just too bad that he feels it necessary to go way over-the-top in both the display of graphic violence and foul and offensive language.
Just like “Saw”, “Saw 2” is far from a family-friendly film.
