Synopsis

Billed as “a prequel to the ‘Road’ pictures of Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour,” “Road to Riches” is a delightful comedy-adventure about two men and a lady who band together to get across country in time to qualify for a huge family inheritance. The trio is stalked by a couple of mysterious characters who attempt to foil their journey.

Dove Review

The plot twists and exciting escapes from various snares make this story both enchanting and exhilarating. Lead characters Harry, Leslie and Mary are successfully written to simulate the original cast members from the famous “Road” pictures of the 1940’s.

Writer Ruhlandt has a winner on his hands. I hope to see this in theaters soon. This is the kind of family adventure/comedy we need more of. This well-written, imaginative script warrants 4 out of 5 Doves for quality and enjoyment. There is no offensive content in the story.
