Synopsis

This cartoon video is based on Matthew 2:9-11, “And there in front of them was the star they had seen rising; it went forward and halted over the place where the child was…Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.”

The Christmas tree ornaments Gold, Frank and Myrrh are being shipped to Las Vegas. Their dialogue and music comprise this video.

Dove Review

Yes, there is a message in this video. The ornaments talk and cavort in this cartoon, based on the quoted Bible verse listed in the synopsis. The message is: it’s better to give than receive, because that’s what God did, when He gave us Jesus at Christmas. Young children will enjoy this, particularly at Christmas time, when parents desire to input the message of giving, instead of always receiving. The Shepherd’s Workshop has gloved their message in this video, but that’s most likely the best way to give the message to their targeted audience.
