Synopsis

Chadder is a chipmunk. Chadder is also a stuffed toy that interacts with a few characters on an island: a retired Navy Seal, a woman named Gertrude who appears to not have all her cookies in the jar, the Professor, and Nathan. There’s a volcano on the island that’s about to erupt, and Chadder interacts with everyone as they get ready to escape the eruption. Along the way, and there are 5 specific days/segments, and the Gospel is presented in a natural, conversational way.

Dove Review

I had to place myself inside the head of a 3 to 4 year old child as I viewed this video. This adventure presents challenges similar to the very popular “Survivor” series currently running on prime-time TV. The characters have various encounters on each day. On day 1, Christmas lights are the vehicle to say that God’s light is always available; on day 2, eating broccoli says we all have to do things we don’t like. On Day 4, when Chadder falls down a steep incline and has to be rescued with a rope, the message says, this is what God did, when He sent Jesus down to earth, for all people. On the final day, Day 5, the volcano erupts and they’re rescued by a plane. This is recommended for small children, ages 3-6.
