“Zen Baby” opens with scenes of babies sleeping, birds flying and clouds floating across a lovely blue sky. The music is soft and the simplicity of the three fingered cords on the piano only add to the simple, relaxing tone. There are segments: look up, look down, look around, look closer; and each draws the child’s eyes with more images of clouds, flowers, grass, running water, and the minute details of a sunflower. There are images of babies touching their toes with delight, while colored balloons are released into the air. The end of the video is the end of the day with more wonderful scenes of a sunset, a bath tub filling with water….and they didn’t forget the rubber ducky! All in all, this is to be enjoyed by both baby and caregiver.
