Fallen Angel

This is the 107th Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation. Terry McQuinn (Gary Sinise), a high-powered Los Angeles lawyer, learns there's a second chance in life. The story is based on Don J. Snyder's novel. When McQuinn's father dies, he returns to his Maine home where he is reunited with an acquaintance from his childhood, Katherine Wentworth (Joely Richardson). McQuinn's mother died young; his father worked as a handyman and caretaker for Maine's wealthy "summer people," and he was a very demanding taskmaster to Terry. This is a love story and also a tale of forgiveness and redemption.

Dove Review

Hallmark Hall of Fame has consistently given people top notch stories with depth and good characters and yet totally lacking any foul language, violence or overt sexuality. They are to be commended for again giving us an excellent production. This role was a departure for Gary Sinise, who’s been seen previously portraying larger than life people, such as George Wallace and Richard Nixon. He handles the role of Terry McQuinn with sensitivity and wonderful constraint, particularly when he reconnects with Katherine after an absence of 30 years. There are several layers to the plot, and watching all the threads come together for the wonderful ending is well worth viewing. .
