Synopsis

Adapted from Stephen King’s best-selling novel, this horror thriller is about four friends who as children bonded emotionally and telepathically over their act of kindness toward a human “dreamcatcher” named Duddits (Donnie Wahlberg). Twenty years later, they remain close, but each friend has his own issues. Henry (Thomas Jane) is considering suicide, Beav (Jason Lee) is troubled by love, Jonesy (Damian Lewis) has strange premonitions, and Pete (Timothy Olyphant) drinks too much. The friends go on their annual hunting trip in the woods of Maine. Strange things begin to happen when an old man stumbles into their camp. The friends soon find themselves face to face with a horrifying alien and a crazy army man (Morgan Freeman) bent on destroying it.

Dove Review

With all of the violence and rough, sexual language, Dove cannot recommend Dreamcatcher.
