Kangaroo Jack

In this crime comedy, two childhood friends from Brooklyn, Charlie (Jerry O’Connell) and Louis (Anthony Anderson), are forced to deliver a package containing a big sum of money to Australia after getting mixed up with the mob. After they run into a kangaroo with their rental Jeep, Louis has some fun by taking pictures of the kangaroo wearing his “lucky” jacket and a pair of sunglasses. The ’roo revives and hops off still wearing the sunglasses and the jacket, which contains the package of money. Charlie and Louis try to hunt down the kangaroo through the Outback before the mob catches up with them. Wildlife expert Jessie (Estella Warren) becomes Charlie’s love interest.

Dove Review

“Kangaroo Jack” is funny in places, especially with the comical expressions and computer-generated antics of the kangaroo. But because of bad language, several scenes of violence and some mild sexual innuendo, parents should be cautioned. Dove has given this film a 12+ rating.
