Restless Spirits
She wasn't looking for adventure. It found her. In 1927, two intrepid, young aviators take off from an airfield outside Paris in an attempt to be the first men to fly across the Atlantic. They take off into the clouds...and vanish. In 1999, young Katie and her brother are spending the summer with their grandmother (Oscar nominee Marsha Mason). On a dare, Katie visits eerie Porter's Pond where she encounters two men -- young flyers who tell her about their attempt to fly across the Atlantic. When Katie reaches out to touch them, her hand passes through -- the men are ghosts! Katie comes to learn that the aviators are caught in a terrible cycle, and unless she can help them, these brave men are doomed to repeat their ill-fated flight each time the fog rolls in.
