Synopsis

“On the Comet” is Jules Verne’s remarkable science fiction adventure fantasy about a strange land in Northern Africa set adrift in space after a comet explodes on its shores. The land’s exotic inhabitants are catapulted into a series of extraordinary and unexplainable events as they face their impending doom. Verne’s incredible imagination fills the screen with a band of pirates, animated dinosaurs, an evil sultan, a handsome hero, a damsel in distress, bizarre weapons, disappearing armies, an enchanted sea serpent, and a remarkable display of special effects that will dazzle and delight you.
