Zenon: The Zequel

Adventure-seeking 15-year-old Zenon (Kirsten Storms), hostess to heaps of intergalactic mayhem, has gotten into trouble once again. This time, Zenon – having used a new version of an old video game to Commander Plank’s extreme detriment – has been assigned to AP, or Alien Patrol. Since the space station has never had any sign of extraterrestrial life from its monitoring system, Zenon thinks the assignment is a real bore. Soon, however, Zenon is on a mission to help out some homeless aliens. The Disney Channel original movie premieres Friday, 1/12/01 at 7PM ET/PT.

Dove Review

This youth space adventure suggests that aliens may exist, but I doubt that it will lead your children down the road to New Age philosophy. It’s merely diverting entertainment for teens and preteens. While it contains space age adolescent speech that parents may find annoying, it also presents nice lessons about friendship, caring about others, and opening your mind to possibilities. While it’s no “E.T.,” for those who still ride on big yellow buses, it may be entertaining.
