Synopsis

Trouble’s brewing at the Nezzer Chocolate Factory! To celebrate the sale of two million chocolate bunnies, company president Nebby K. Nezzer announces that his workers may eat as many bunnies as they like! This sounds great, until three boys named Rack, Shack and Benny remember that their parents taught them not to eat too much candy. Can the boys do what’s right, even when all their friends are doing something else? And why is Mr. Nezzer building a 90-foot chocolate bunny? Rack, Shack and Benny are about to find out just how risky it can be to stand up for what you believe! “Rack, Shack & Benny” helps children learn how to resist peer pressure and stand up for what they believe.

Dove Review

This movie is a spin on the Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego story from Daniel 3, but the characters are named Rack, Shack and Benny. Mr. Nezzer hires them at his chocolate factory. They work under strict rules – no breaks, no sick time, and no vacation time. They are very tired! The three main characters become executives for doing the right thing. They show up in Mr. Nezzer’s office, only to be told the Chocolate Bunny is number one, and they must sing a song that goes against what they believe. If they don’t sing that song, they get thrown into the furnace. They refuse to bow or sing the song at the ceremony, so off to the furnace they go!

Their friend rescues them before they hit the furnace the first time, and they are rescued again, as their faith in God sustains. They see four in the furnace now — the fourth shines with a bright light. Mr. Nezzer finally sees what he did wrong!

You will enjoy “Silly Songs with Larry” that will keep you smiling and tapping your feet. This movie earns the Dove Faith Friendly Seal for all ages to enjoy!
