Synopsis

It’s two days until William Bunnykin’s birthday and he’s looking forward to that more than any other day of the year. Most of all, he’s hoping to get his very own Marching Drum like the one in his father’s band, the Bunnykins marching band. Unfortunately for William, his birthday falls on the same day the Town of Little Twitching celebrates its 500th Anniversary. Soon Mr. and Mrs. Bunnykins are too busy getting ready for the Queen’s visit to concentrate on their son’s party. The last straw comes when Reginald Rattley, the town bully, takes William’s birthday drum out of the toy shop window. It looks as if it will be no birthday for William at all until a mysterious lady gives him some good advice.
