Knockout

The daughter of a once gifted boxer, now policeman, wants to become a fighter herself. Of course, her Hispanic mother and father believe this to be no profession for a young woman. But on her deathbed, the mother, dying of a brain tumor, tells her husband to support her in her decision and tells her daughter, “Let your light shine.” Well, this is all the encouragement the beautiful and athletic girl needs. So despite her best friend being knocked senseless in the ring, and after a montage showing her trials and accomplishments, we soon find our heroine up for the lightweight championship.
