Synopsis

A retired cop, living across the way from a drag queen, responds to a shooting in his building only to suffer a stroke. During convalescence, his therapy includes taking singing lessons to help regain his speech. His new voice teacher turns out to be the cross dressing neighbor. As they get to know one another, they form an understanding and friendship. The subplot has the two dealing with dangerous drug dealers.
