Synopsis

Enter the imaginative world of Lewis Carroll in these animated adaptations of the Alice in Wonderland’s author’s classic Nonsense Poems, The Hunting of the Snark, and Jabberwocky. In The Hunting of the Snark, a high-masted ship sets sail to roam the seas looking for a Snark. In this colorful adventure, theButcher pursues the Beaver; the Broker takes count, while the Barrister preserves order; the Bellman leads them over the edge; and the Baker, the Baker finds the Snark!

A century has passed, and people have not yet tired of trying to explain these two poems. We will probably never know completely what Lewis Carroll intended, but that shouldn’t matter; as he himself pointed out, “our words mean more than we mean them to mean.”
