A bumbling fairy godfather (well, technically, fairy godmother–the only male member of the North American Fairy Godmother Association) tries to do good for a young girl whose only wish is for her father to get a part in a Broadway musical. But the district’s previous godmother, a nefarious spellcaster named Claudia, has plans to cripple the magical association and monopolize the wish market. Between blunders and black magic, what’s a little girl to do?
A little girl wanting to make a wish for her father, is answered by the world’s only male godmother – a bumbler who makes Jerry Lewis look sophisticated. Somewhat amusing for little ones, tedious for most adults.
5 or 6 mild expletives, but no harsh or profane language; spells cast and one of the godmother’s is really a witch, dealing in black magic; most of the violence is cartoonish; an older brother tells his sister there are no angels
