Pink Panther – 1963

"Peter Sellers and David Niven are flawless" exclaims Variety of this riotously funny film about an almost flawless - and guite priceless - diamond, and the lengths people will go to obtain it! Arriving at a Swiss ski resort with her puppy and her "panther" - a large gem with the image of a leaping pink feline inside - sexy Princess Dala (Claudia Cardinale) encounters the bebonair Sir Charles(Niven). She is unaware, however, that Charles, a.k.a. "The Phantom," is a professional thief who steals from the rich and gives to...himself! Enter Jacques Clouseau (Sellers), the clumsiest Inspector ever to trip over a vase. Can he stop Sir Charles' devilish attempts to relieve the princess of her diamond? Can he even exit his own room without breaking off the doorknob? Or will The Phantom steal away "the cat" and leave Clouseau to hold the bag?
