The Christmas Thermometer

Holly is a nice bunny—most of the time. She also likes to be funny. And sometimes those two don’t mix. She gets put on Santa’s naughty list, but is lucky enough to stumble upon a Christmas elf who gives her a thermometer to gauge her behavior. Over the course of the next 12 months, the thermometer goes up and down, but in the end she helps others and makes the nice list.

Dove Review

The Christmas Thermometer is a warm tale from the heart and perfect for the chilly times of the Christmas season! Holly, a well-meaning bunny, is having some issues with not being so nice to her friends and family. She means the best and only wants to make them laugh, but her attempts only cause tears and exhaustion. After being granted a magic thermometer that measures her niceness, she has exactly one year to make up for her ways so that she can get the ultimate Christmas present from Santa: a guitar!

The film is guided by a plethora of cheery animation techniques the children are bound to love, and the message is clear and strong. The film takes a journey, along with its protagonist, to learn how kindness is far more contagious than presents. Sure, Holly has much to learn along the way, but the film is worth the adventure, especially for younger audiences.

Dove is proud to award the film its Approval for All Ages.
