Synopsis

When lovable but troublemaking cat Gaturro falls in love with Agatha, he auditions to be the next feline TV star to win her heart and prove his worth. But will Gaturro be able to handle the fame and also fend off the challengers to Agatha’s heart?

Dove Review

Gaturro is a zany, wily feline who wants to be liked. Especially by Agatha, another cat with a list of the perfect cat to marry: romantic, charming, good looking and hygienic, to name a few traits. Gaturro will do anything to win her…even become the biggest, “Oscat”-winning movie star!

The animation of Gaturro is bright and cheery, bringing to mind the palette of the Garfield comics. Gaturro’s (mis)adventure is a wonderful study in being yourself, and not tailoring to what others want you to become. The message is one of the film’s many delights, as well as the hilarious skewering of Hollywood!

Dove is proud to award Gaturro with approval for All Ages.
