Dove Review

Speed Racer is put to the test in Speed Racer: Race to the Future. It’s not just about where he’s going— but when! After disobeying his father and entering in a race, he inexplicably finds himself transported 50 years into the future with his friends. Together they must find a way to get back, which includes Speed entering in yet another risky face in a society where robots control automobiles!

The animation is colorful and playful, and the racing scenes zoom at breakneck speed. The film is paced efficiently, recalling the Saturday morning cartoons young viewers would wake up to first thing in the morning. Kids will enjoy the lighthearted sense of humor as well, all wrapped in a delightfully action-packed feature that is Speed Racer: Race to the Future!

Dove is proud to award the film with approval for All Ages.
