Redemption Way

Jenny Paine is a hospice nurse who feels it is her mission to safely deliver souls into the next life. However, when her childhood friend Autumn is put on hospice, Jenny's attempts at sharing her Christian faith are angrily rejected. Feelings of helplessness extend to other areas of Jenny's life as well. She longs for children, but her husband doesn't feel ready financially, and Jenny's chance for a promotion at work is being sabotaged by a scheming co-worker. With time running out, Jenny must place her faith in God by making a life-changing sacrifice.

Dove Review

Here is a soul-searching story about Jenny, who has helped many patients as a hospice nurse. She is—or thinks she is—strong in her faith in God. But when the loss of her father followed by her best friend becoming ill with leukemia, Jenny is challenged about her faith and beliefs. She needs to find out what God’s plan is for her.

This story is one that many of us have faced in our lives as Christians. The challenges of keeping our faith in God and His plan rather than our own. The lesson is wonderfully shown as Jenny learns that everyone has their own journey in life with God; that we must also look at how He wants us to follow Him because He will show us the way.

We love the message of this movie and give the Dove Faith-Friendly Approval for ages 12-plus due to the theme of the film.
