Adventures of Jojo (and His annoying Sister Avila)
For Ages 12 and Over
A 6-year-old boy named JoJo wakes up amid a car crash deep within the woods. Reluctantly, he pulls his baby sister out of the wreckage and plops her into his backpack. Armed only with his pocket knife and a little bit of faith, JoJo and Avila try to make it back home alive; encountering hobos, wolves, and raging rivers along the way.
JoJo is a normal 6 year old and his little sister Avila is a baby just beginning to talk and walk. They went to visit their grandma and as most siblings do sometimes, Jojo is jealous of all the attention that the young one gets. But when his grandma gives him his grandfather’s pocket knife, JoJo believes he is special again. But while returning home, an accident occurs. JoJo takes it upon himself to take his little sister and go back to Grandma’s because mom is sleeping. So the adventure starts as this young boy and his baby sister travel through dangerous land to return to a safe place. He finds it hard at times to protect Avila, and it is a lot of responsibility to go on the hiking travel trip. This is an interesting adventure for one so young and the encounters he meets along the way, we award our Dove Family Approved Seal for ages 12+ to this movie.
