“When Calls the Heart: Heart of Faith” is the inspiring first two episodes of the fourth season of this wonderful and warm-hearted series. It is big on story, big on characters, and big on heart! Sam the mysterious peddler shows up and seems to have the perfect gift for every occasion. When a freight train is derailed, which was carrying needed supplies and costumes for the children’s Christmas pageant, the town has to pull together to make a little Christmas magic themselves. This includes providing food, costumes, gifts, and a stove to keep a family warm. And one man makes sure the kids have a surprise visit from Santa himself.
The movie features romance between Jack and Elizabeth, and Abigail and Pastor Frank. And the characters’ values and their faith in God are nicely illustrated. We are more than happy to award this DVD our Dove Family-Approved Seal for all ages. This one shoots for the heart and strikes it, but in a good way.
