Dove Review

“Hope Dances” is a story of a young girl’s dream. Hope is a ballerina who also plays baseball. She excels in both—one making her father proud and the other her mother, and each of them always trying to push her in their respective desires. She is torn between the two activities but does not want to hurt either of her parent’s feelings.

It is exhausting trying to please both parents until she receives some advice from her grandmother to follow her her own dreams, and her parents will come around. Hope also doesn’t want to give up on her best friend who has been in an accident or be in competition with her new friend. Hope does the best she can and what is right for her.

It is a charming story of friendship, hard work and the message that dreams can come true. The Dove Family-Approved Seal for all ages is awarded to “Hope Dances.”
