“Investigating the Historical Jesus” is a scenic documentary, which features the Holy Land, the history of Jesus’ life, and various people in a contemporary setting, being baptized in the Jordan River. The film also includes the probable home of Peter and the birth place of Jesus, as well as the tomb where he was laid after the crucifixion. This tomb, incidentally, is located in a church.
The film also features various experts, and some of them disagree with each other. One man, Robert Feduccia, mentions Jesus being at the wrong place at the wrong time when He was crucified, and another man says that Jesus was crucified because He was considered a blasphemer.
This documentary covers Jesus’s birth, ministry, betrayal, death, and resurrection. It is enlightening, and we are happy to award it our “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages, although it is not intended for a very young audience. This film gives the viewer not just the biblical background of Jesus, but also the unique historical perspective.
